PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor joint cover device with a cover body which is adapted to obtain a predetermined rigidity using a thin-walled metal plate comparatively low in cost. SOLUTION: The cover body C includes a cover plate 5 made of metal of rectangular plate shape for covering a joint; and a plurality of reinforcing rib plates 6 comprising joint plates 6a in a plate shape juxtaposed to cover the whole lower face of the cover plate 5 and joined to the lower face of the cover plate 5, and rib parts 6b projected downward from the joint plates 6a and extended in the width direction of the joint. The cover body C having the predetermined rigidity can thereby be manufactured using the thin-walled metal plate comparatively low in cost owing to the combined strength improving action by the joint plates 6a and rib parts 6b of the respective reinforcing rib plates 6, reducing the manufacturing cost of the cover body C.
