<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a server computer to be connected in accordance with state change of the server computer, in server computers and client computers which are decentralized and arranged in a plurality of networks, with high efficiency, at high speed, and with high reliability, without making a client application program of a client computer aware of the selection. <P>SOLUTION: A network relay method uses a network relay program 5 designed for relay to an arbitrary server computer 22b in accordance with a request of a client computer 13a. The network relay method comprises: a packet transmission step wherein the server computer 22b transmits a multicast packet including service information to be provided; a server computer retrieval step wherein the network relay program 5 generates a database based on the multicast packet and performs retrieval to determine a server computer 22b to perform relay; and a network relay step wherein the network relay program 5 performs relay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
