PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plating method for forming a metal coating film where the adhesion between the coating film and a molding is excellent, and fine appearance can be applied thereto. SOLUTION: In the method of forming a metal plating film at least on a part of the surface in an aromatic polycarbonate based resin molding by a specified process, particularly, in a strike plating stage, a solution of copper sulfate or nickel sulfate is used as a plating bath. Further, the amount of bisphenol A measured in the case that the metal-plated molding is subjected to a specified heat cycle test is ≤10 μg/cm2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
