<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma CVD film forming apparatus capable of uniformly and moderately applying color on the inner wall in the vicinity of an opening part of a container while gas barrier properties are provided by a gas barrier film, preventing a bottle from thermally deforming caused by plasma concentration, and furthermore, decreasing adhesion of carbon type foreign substances onto an article inserted into the opening part of the bottle, and to provide a method for manufacturing a plastic container in which application of the coloring on the inner wall in the vicinity of the opening part of the container is uniform and moderate and which has the gas barrier properties. <P>SOLUTION: The plasma CVD film forming apparatus is such a plasma CVD film forming apparatus that forms a gas barrier film on the inner surface of the plastic container.
