<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a damper for a riser pipe of a coke oven is provided to secure smooth operation of the riser pipe even when the riser pipe equipment above the coking chamber of the coke oven tilts by heat. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for operating a damper for a riser pipe of a coke oven includes an apparatus body(10) which is mounted on a charging vehicle and can move back and forth, and a damper operating member(30) which can move to the front of the apparatus body to secure tight contact with a control panel(232a) of the riser pipe damper.
