INVERTED-PENDULUM MOBILE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted-pendulum mobile body which can be used when a user walks.

SOLUTION: In the inverted-pendulum mobile body 1, a base body 9 is translated to a user moving substantially in the horizontal direction. A moving motion unit 5 is connected to the base body 9 and capable of moving the base body 9 in a substantially horizontal direction which is determined by the first direction (X-axis direction) and the second direction (Y-axis direction) different from the first direction. An actuator device 7 drives the moving motion unit 5. A walking motion estimation unit 55 estimates the walking motion of the user. A control unit 50 controls the actuator device 7 so as to drive the moving motion unit 5 at least in the second direction (Y-axis direction) according to the estimated walking motion of the user.
