<p>The invention relates to a synthetic lubricant and a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the lubricant is a complex ester type one of the formula R2-(CH2)4-COO-R1-OOC-(CH2)4-COOR2, where R1 is a radical selected from among triethylene-, diethylene, monoethylene-, 1,3 propylene-, 1,4-butylene-, 1,5 penthamethylene-, 1,6 hexamethylene-glycol and R2 is an isodecyl radical. The claimed process comprises the reaction between dihydroxyl alcohol-glycol and adipic acid in a molar ratio of 1:2, in the presence of an aromatic solvent in an amount of 20...200% as compared with the reagents mass, followed by the admixture of isodecanol in a molar ratio of 1:2, extraction of reaction water and solvent, devolatilization under vacuum, at a still temperature of 260...270°C, bleaching with active carbon and filtration, thereby resulting a complex ester exhibiting lubricant specific properties.</p> |
