NOISE REDUCTION DEVICE OF VARIABLE SPEED CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reducing the noise of a variable speed cable to improve the silence and entrainment feeling in a vehicle by enabling the device to effectively absorb and shut out the noise entering the interior of the vehicle via the variable speed cable from the transmission without using a too heavy weight such as a mass damper.

SOLUTION: The device for reducing the noise of the variable speed cable is formed so that the inner cable 1 of the variable speed cable passes through the interior and comprises a mount socket 5 fixed to the variable speed lever mount bracket, a cable connection pipe whose one side is connected to the end on the variable speed lever side of the outer cable of the variable speed cable, a damper housing coupled via a vibration prevention material M to the end on the variable speed lever side of the cable connection pipe, and a housing connection pipe 13 whose one end is connected via the vibration prevention material to the damper housing and whose other end is connected via the vibration prevention material to the mount socket.
