<p>The fleece consists of steel fibres and is fitted, at the edge, with a copper flex as thermo-conductor. It is resistance heated using 6 V supply. Fibres other than steel fibres may be used. The flex may be of Ag, Al, brass etc. A binder and reinforcing material may be used comprising PVC, polyurethane, nitrile rubber, chlorinated rubber, polyamide etc. As the current used is only 6 V, no electrical insulator need be used.</p> |
