The invention relates to an acupuncture body (1) having a needle-like shape, which can be temporarily inserted with a section of the acupuncture body in living tissue or permanently inserted in living tissue as an implant. At least in a partial region of the surface of the acupuncture body (1) that can be inserted in the tissue, the interface (2) thereof with the perforation of a vessel-nerve-connecting tissue bundle of the superficial body fascia constituting the acupuncture point exhibits a different design having an average surface roughness in the range of 0.01 µm - 250 µm, wherein a biological interaction exists in the inserted state in the form of reflexes between the interface (2) and the respective vessel-nerve-connecting tissue bundle. The interface (2) preferably features fractal geometry.
