PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for facilitating visual check of a blade. SOLUTION: A CPU 34c extracts a template image from blade images which constitute a moving image obtained by imaging blades periodically arranged in a jet engine, and compares the blade images with the template image. The CPU 34c selects a portion of blade images based on a result of the image comparison from among the blade images. A monitor 22 displays the template image and the selected blade images.
