<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus constituted so that a user can easily get at an apparatus body, and the user can easily lift up the apparatus body when moving the apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus, including a handle part for making it easy to lift up the apparatus body by the user when moving the apparatus body, includes: a cover member provided at least on one side surface of an outer case of the apparatus and formed to be freely developed relative to the outer case of the apparatus; and the handle part touched by the user when lifting up the apparatus body.
