PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately execute a related function to a program which is recorded simultaneously. SOLUTION: A video recorder has a recording means, a first display means, a selecting means, a second display means and an execution means. The selecting means selects a previous program for executing a related function related to a previous program from previous programs shown by previous program information which is displayed by the first display means. The second display means displays a selecting screen comprising an operation image for selecting a related function to be executed for a previous program selected by the selecting means and a content information which shows the content of the previous program selected by the selecting means. The execution means executes the related function wherein an operation image included in the selecting screen displayed by the second display means is operated in the previous program selected by the selecting means. When the related function wherein an operation image is operated is a reservation function which reserves video recording of a program related to a previous program among programs which are to be broadcasted in the days ahead, reservation of video recording of a program which is provided with the same program name as the previous program selected by the selecting means among forthcoming programs is executed.
