<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of quickly forwarding a piston during operation. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator A1 is a piston cylinder type which moves the piston 54 arranged in a cylinder 22 together with a support rod 64 by operation gas generated from a gas generator 42. The gas generator 42 includes: a housing 47 filled with a gas generation agent 46; and a squib 43. In the housing 47, a ceiling 49 arranged in the opposite to a base part 55 of the piston 54 before operation has a plurality of doors 50 which open with portions near the center as tip end sides when the squib 43 operates. The base part 55 of the piston 54 has a concave part 56 whose surface is concave near the center, and can abut the tip ends 50a of the door 50 by causing the tip ends 50a of the door 50 to enter the concave part 56 when the doors 50 open. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
