PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception terminal capable of preventing occurrence of trouble such as loss of the beginning part or end part of a content even when time information included in a content transmitted via a network has fluctuation, and allowing correct setting, execution and the like of reservation. SOLUTION: In this reception terminal, time information is extracted from a network used as a reference and set in an internal timepiece as a reference time of the terminal; when a reservation request is issued from a user, a difference value between time information and the reference time in a network for transmitting a program with reservation requested therefor is determined; the time correction of the reservation start and end times is performed by the difference value; difference values are determined again on a predetermined timing basis; the time corrections of the reservation start and end times are sequentially performed by the difference values obtained again; and thereby time information having fluctuation is further accurately corrected to allow the correct setting and execution of the reservation.
