<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more inexpensively provide a cold water circulating system having high energy efficiency and capable of saving energy by preventing generation of excessive allowance in a cooling capacity at a heat source side. <P>SOLUTION: This cold water circulating system includes a control device 16 having an operation control processing section 17 for controlling operations (motion, stop) of heat source machines 3a, 3b by using heat source-side temperature sensors 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b respectively disposed in a state of holding the heat source machines 3a, 3b. The operation control processing section 17 has a stage reduction control processing section for calculating heat source-side average temperature differenceΔT<SB>h</SB>by monitoring states of the prescribed heat source machines 3a, 3b during motion, and controlling the operations of the plurality of heat source machines 3a, 3b in the direction to reduce a total cooling capacity at the heat source side, and simultaneously to reduce the amount of cold water supplied to a load machine, when stage reducing condition represented by formulaΔT<SB>h</SB>×(present total cooling capacity at heat source side)÷(total cooling capacity at heat source side after stage reduction)≤ΔT<SB>d</SB>×α, in whichΔT<SB>d</SB>is designed rated temperature difference of heat source machine, andαis an allowance ratio (desired average load ratio: % to heat source machine operated after reduction of stage), is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
