PURPOSE: An apparatus for wireless communication and a communication method thereof are provided to maintain a form factor like a previous factor by excluding the addition of hardware to the apparatus for wireless communication. CONSTITUTION: An antenna-combined electrode(310a) includes a first signal electrode(311a) and an antenna pattern(313a). A second signal electrode(320a) receives and transmits data with the first signal electrode. A transmission and reception unit(330a) selectively executes a first or second communication mode. In the first communication mode, the transmission and reception unit receives and transmits data through the first and second signal electrodes. In the second communication mode, the transmission and reception unit transmits and receives data through the antenna pattern. A control unit(340a) controls the communication mode of the transmission and reception unit.
