PURPOSE: A display device and an operating method of the same are provided to reduce the number of compartment and improve a display quality. CONSTITUTION: A frame rate switching unit converts a first and a second middle image frame into a 4-speed rating image signal by generating a first and second image frame which is continuous to a first image frame and a second image frame. A timing controlling unit(160) sequentially outputs a first and second reward frame and a first and second image frame. A data operating unit(120) provides a first and second middle image frame to an expression panel by converting a black data voltage. The first middle image frame has the same value with the first image frame. The second middle image frame and the first image frame have the same value.
