PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately save data if it is predicted that the temperature of a mobile terminal reaches a critical temperature which cannot guarantee normal operation of the mobile terminal. SOLUTION: A data saving system has a temperature measurement portion 101 which measures the temperature of the mobile terminal 1 at a specified time interval, a data saving procedure determination portion 103 which calculates an arrival time until the measured temperature reaches a prespecified critical temperature based on the temperature measured by the temperature measurement portion 101 and the amount of change at the specified time interval, calculates the amount of data that can be saved on a saving device within the arrival time, and selects saving data that are to be saved on the saving device from data stored in the mobile terminal based on the amount of data available for saving, and a data saving processing portion 105 which saves the selected saving data on the saving device.
