摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problem of a conventional method for wire-cut electric discharge machining, wherein the accuracy of the shape of a working groove is lowered owing to a change in the width of the working groove when electric discharge energy is reduced before the position of a step. SOLUTION: The pressure and electric discharge energy of a working fluid jet are reduced in a predetermined positionαbefore the positionΔof a step. When a servo reference voltage SVc which is one-step increased by unit voltage ve and which is obtained from the predetermined positionαfor each predetermined unit time by dividing, by a predetermined step quantity n, the difference between an initially set servo reference voltage SV and a proper servo reference voltage SVt which minimizes a variation in discharge gap, does not exceed a standard reference value SVr obtained by adding a voltage veh, which is half the difference between an average working voltage Vg and the present servo reference voltage SVn, to the present servo voltage SVn, the present servo reference voltage SVn is one-step increased by the unit voltage ve.
