PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means avoiding an excess of limiting vehicle speed by optimizing an area for performing feedback calculation of a speed limiting function, in a vehicle having such a speed limiting function that a driver optionally sets the limiting vehicle speed. SOLUTION: When acceleration is performed toward the limiting vehicle speed of the speed limiting function, a vehicle speed for starting the feedback calculation is appropriately controlled based on an operating state immediately before starting the feedback calculation of the speed limiting function, thereby avoiding the excess of limiting vehicle speed.
