METHOD FOR MANAGING FLOATING CRANES

PURPOSE: An operating method of a floating crane is provided to enhance the rotating rate of a dock since the manufacturing of a super-sized block is possible in building a ship and a marine structure. CONSTITUTION: An operating method of a floating crane is as follows. A salvage target is selected, and the weight of the selected salvage target is estimated(S10). A floating crane, which is suitable for the weight of the selected salvage target, and salvaging and loading techniques are selected(S12). A lifting factor is calculated according to the estimated weight and the selected salvaging and loading techniques(S14). A weight suitable for salvaging and loading is determined by dividing the salvageable weight of the selected floating crane by the calculated lifting factor(S16). The estimated weight of the salvage target is compared with the calculated weight suitable for salvaging and loading.
