APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING OF CURVED HULL PLATES

PURPOSE: A surface curving device is provided to improve curved surface processing efficiency by keeping a heating torch at right angle to a curved steel plate in order to maintain the uniform heat applied to a curving target area. CONSTITUTION: A surface curving device comprises a heating torch part(100), a cool line(103), a tilting part, a member measuring part, and space part. The heating torch part moves along X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis. The cool line is connected to one side of the heating torch part. The heating torch part keeps at a right angle toward the steel plate by the tilting of the tilting part. The member measuring part scans the steel plate and measures the shape of the steel plate. The space part keeps the fixed distance of the steel plate from the heating torch part. The heat input applied the steel plate is uniformly distributed by the flame of the heating torch part.
