PURPOSE: A dual chamber type pedal simulator is provided to make the pedal feeling of a driver similar with fluid pressure without applying magneto-rheological fluid or electromagnet by embodying the hysteresis property according to nonlinear similar to the fluid pressure. CONSTITUTION: A dual chamber type pedal simulator comprises a main chamber(1a), a housing(1), a jump-in groove(1aa), and a pressure sensor(2). A main piston(5), moving according to the amount of pedaling, is combined in the main chamber. The housing comprises a subchamber(1b) combined with a sub piston(8) having a damper(11) which can be transformed by the hydraulic pressure flowing from the main chamber. The jump-in groove is located on the inner surface of the main chamber in the initial forward moving section of the main piston. The through hole circulating inner oil is formed on a partition wall(1c) partitioning the main chamber and the subchamber. A bonding boss(1f), having a connection hole(1fa) communicated with the main chamber, is formed in the main chamber. The pressure sensor transmits the hydraulic pressure size, generated in the housing, to an ECU(60). |
