PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent conspicuousness of a latent image pattern in front view by forming a latent image equivalent to an intaglio latent image with toner using an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the method, with respect to a plurality of latent image lines L2 constituting a latent image pattern, a color material is attached in a large amount so that the color material is attached as thickly as in intaglio latent image printing. A first straight line L1 along the main scanning direction and a second straight line L3 along the sub scanning direction are perpendicular to each other, and a camouflage pattern with dots D printed randomly on intersections of the first straight line L1 and the latent image line L2 with the second straight line L3 is synthesized over the whole latent image pattern.
