The method involves applying thermally-activated two-component polyurethane adhesive to two facing sides of a lower cover layer and a upper cover layer e.g. wood and wood products, to be bonded with each other, and merging the cover layers. The assembled layers are pressed for 0.5 to 10 min at 80 to 180 degrees celsius and 0.05 to 2 -2 Newton per millimeter square. The thermally activated two-component polyurethane adhesive is applied to a roller and upper and lower sides of a core layer.
