PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow which enables a user to sleep comfortably on the side or back of the body by adjusting the height of the pillow to fit the user and varying the height of the pillow within established heights when the head is turned to be on its side or finishes being on the back or when the user consciously turns the body to be on the side or returns to be on the back during using the pillow. SOLUTION: In order to vertically move the pillow A from the bottom thereof, the pillow A is put into an opening of a frame made of an opening made of the insertion ports of tubular air pressure type jack B and air pressure type jack B' and a top plate D. Before use, air is supplied into the air pressure type jacks B and B' and the heights of the pillow for lying on the back and for lying on the side are established and set. When the head is placed on the pillow, the weight of the head and the difference between the pressures of both weightless air pumps are balanced via the neck to attain the established height. When the head and the body comes to be on the sides thereof, the air pumps are flattened because of being under the arms and the trunk.
