PURPOSE: A furnace cooling system having a stave wear measurement member is provided to measure the thickness of a stave in real time and to maintain the function of the stave regardless of the measured thickness of the stave. CONSTITUTION: A furnace cooling system comprises a shaft furnace(200), a plurality of staves(300), a cooling water supply part(400), and a stave wear measurement member(500). The stave comprises a cooling water circulation passage and is installed along the inner wall surface of the furnace. The cooling water supply part supplies the cooling water to the cooling water circulation passage of the stave.
