摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which all defective pixels to be corrected can be corrected, regardless of the limited number of registration in a storage part, and to provide a program for defective pixel correction. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an image generation means (28) for generating image data, based on a plurality of electrical signals output from an imaging device (20) having a plurality of pixels, wherein the image generation means has a defective pixel correction part 42 which corrects defective pixel of image generation data by a defective pixel correction operation. The image generation means sets the number of correction pixels to be corrected, based on the defective pixel level, associated with criteria of change in influences of the defective pixels; and when the number of correction pixels exceeds the limited number of registration which is the number of pieces of defective pixel data that can be registered in the storage part 43, the image generation means repeats the defective pixel correction operation in the defective pixel correction part 42, while changing the registered content of the defective pixel data in the storage section 43 so as to correct the defective pixel of the number of correction pixels, without making the pixel data to be corrected duplicate.
