A method for providing a control widget and a device using the same are provided. According to the method, a control widget, used for inputting a control command with respect to a portable device, is received and executed, so that the inputted user command is transferred to the controlled device using the executed control widget. As a result, a control widget to control the portable device at a remote distance is conveniently received and installed on the device. |
