<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid simulation device which easily copes with grid generation and shape changes and reduces computation time while maintaining accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The simulation device specifies a range corresponding to a viscous bottom layer and generates a prism grid with respect to the specified range corresponding to the viscous bottom layer, generates a tetrahedral grid on the outside of the range corresponding to the viscous bottom layer, defines a composite grid including the generated prism grid and tetrahedral grid, as a grid for computation, and executes numerical fluid computation to compute at least one of a flow velocity in each grid and shearing stress to a flow passage wall surface adjacent to the grid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
