The device (1) has a drawing punch (2) and a counterholder (3) pressingly driven by a punch pusher (2a) and a counterholder pusher (3a), respectively. A draw bead (5) is movably supported in a drawing die (4) parallel to a pressing direction of the pushers. The draw bead and a drawing groove (3b) are step-wisely fitted into each other. A drive device has a deflection device (6) interconnected between the punch and draw bead so that a movement step of fitting of the bead and groove is drivable by the punch, where movement of the punch is transmitted into the bead by the deflection device.
