PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device capable of properly moving a movable body in an optical axis direction, even when a spring member, which connects a moving body that holds a lens and a fixing body holding the moving body, is made to be smaller in size and thinner in thickness. SOLUTION: The lens drive device includes: the movable body that can move in an optical axis direction together with the lens; the fixing body that holds the movable body movably; the spring member that connects the movable body and the fixing body; and a driving mechanism that drives the movable body in the optical axis direction. The driving mechanism includes: a driving magnet which is attached to a fixing body side; a driving coil 18 which is attached to a movable body side; and an FPC (Flexible printed circuits) 21 to which an end of a conducting wire constituting the driving coil 18 is electrically connected. One end side of the FPC 21 is a movable body side fixed part 21a fixed on the movable body side, and connections 21c for connecting a fixing body side fixed part 21b being the other end side of the FPC 21 and the movable body side fixed part 21a is folded and led in the optical axis direction.
