<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial motorcycle which ensures the safety of an occupant even in an emergency stop. <P>SOLUTION: The coaxial motorcycle includes a vehicle body section; a pair of wheels disposed coaxially on both sides of the vehicle body section in a direction orthogonal to a travel direction; a pair of right and left step sections disposed on the upper surface side of the vehicle body section, and disposed so that the occupant puts right and left feet thereon, respectively; an operation lever which is connected at a lower end thereof to a front end of the vehicle body section, and is disposed to stand in the front of the occupant in an upright posture riding on the step sections; a travel control section to perform servo control for traveling while holding balance with the occupant riding on; and an emergency stop control section to stop the servo control during emergency. While the servo control is performed, the step sections hold a horizontal state. When the servo control is turned off in an emergency, the step sections are rotatable in a direction to turn downward an outer side thereof with a roll shaft as the center of rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
