<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain given characteristics in the longitudinal direction even if a line lighting system using a long light guide may have a structure in which light sources having different characteristics are arranged at right and left ends, thereby to provide a compact device in which light sources having different emission wavelengths are separately arranged at both ends of a light guide and to provide an inexpensive device by reducing cost for sorting LEDs. <P>SOLUTION: In a line lighting system in which a light source is arranged at one end, preferably at both ends, of a long light guide made of a transparent member, one side face of the light guide in the longitudinal direction is used as a light exit surface, the other side face facing the light exit surface is used as an uneven pattern surface, an uneven pattern having a ridge line in the short side direction is formed and arranged on the uneven pattern surface, and a distance between the light exit surface and the uneven pattern surface is gradually changed to be larger nearer the center and to be smaller nearer the both ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
