Producing carbon particles (2) enriched with minerals (4) from a biogas plant, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a device for executing the above process, comprising a cylindrical container (1), which is separated into two superimposed disposed part containers by a sieve, where the part container below the sieve is useful for receiving the liquid phase and exhibits at least a feed line for liquids, and the part of the containers above the sieve is useful for receiving the carbon particles and exhibits at least a supply for the carbon particles and at least one feed line for liquids.
