On a radial cross-sectional plane, a first total magnet surface of a section of the magnetic assembly is smaller than a second surface defined by the product of the radial height of a face (h) of the magnetic assembly (40) which faces towards the polar claw (44a), and the circumferential distance between the polar claws (44a, 44b) in the interpolar gap.
