PURPOSE:To improve greatly the accuracy of collation between seal prints, by compensating the positins of peculiar points of the seal points to be collated by making use of the minimum squaring method and calculating the distance between peculair points after positioning both seal prints. CONSTITUTION:A seal print is changed into a picture through a camera device 3, and this picture output is sent to a picture processor via a data bus 40. A reader 50 reads the code number printed on a check 1, and the output of the reader 50 is fed to an external memory 5. The memory 5 stores a reference seal print as a data, and the picture data of the corresponding reference seal print is extracted on the basis of the code number read by the reader 50 and then fed to a picture processor 4. The processor 4 controls the operation of an allotting device 2 via an output device 24 and based on the result of discrimination for the genuineness of the seal print. |
