<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in an image forming apparatus having a conventional configuration in which a pullout unit is inserted and then, an operation lever is rotated to lock the pullout unit, operability is bad. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a cover configured to open/close with respect to an apparatus body of the image forming apparatus; the pullout unit; a locking member configured to lock the pullout unit according to an operation of inserting the pullout unit into the apparatus body; and an abutting member configured to regulate the closure of the cover by abutting against the cover. When the locking member does not lock the pullout unit, the abutting member is positioned at a position where the abutting member regulates the closure of the cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
