A method for separation of caps from a filter element consisting of a shutter, a central perforated tube and caps, including crippling of the filter element, it is first put on the cap near a stop mounted on the plate ofseparating device, then the separating element is displaced in a plane parallel to the plate of separating device with a force sufficient to separate the cap, then the similar procedures are repeated for separation of the second cap.
