PURPOSE: An epoxy hybrid silicone resin composition is provided to ensure excellent heat resistance and adhesive force, discoloration stability by heat, and cracking resistance and to enable use for a packaging material, filler, adhesive, or coating material. CONSTITUTION: An epoxy hybrid silicone resin composition comprises (a) 20-90 weight% carboxy-modified polysiloxane, (b) 4-45 weight% epoxy resin, (c) 5-45 weight% acid anhydride, and (d) 0.01-5 weight% catalyst. The carboxy-modified polysiloxane has a refractive index of 1.4-1.6. The carboxy-modified polysiloxane is prepared by performing condensation reaction of polysiloxane containing an alkyl group and selectively phenyl group with polyol containing carboxylic group and -OH group in the presence of a reaction catalyst.
