The rearview mirror (3) is provided with a cap (2) such as shielding cap and baseball cap, with a cap shield (1) and connected with a spring clip (6) using a pivot joint (5). The spring clip is arranged on the cap shield. A permanent magnet (8) is provided for firmly holding the mirror at an inner side of the cap shield. Another spring clip (7) together with the mirror is forwardly movable on the cap shield.
