PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a prescribed section of sound information by changing its frequency characteristics.

SOLUTION: Upon receiving the setting of changing the frequency characteristics of the outputting sound information by a setting part 102 when outputting the sound information from an output part 101, a prescribed section of sound information after setting reception is extracted by an extracting part 103. The output part 101 is controlled by a control part 105 so as to repeatedly output the prescribed section of the sound information by changing to the frequency characteristics set by the setting part 102 and the frequency characteristics before setting by the setting part 102. On that occasion, information regarding the frequency characteristics of the outputting sound information may be displayed. Further, when receiving the selection of one frequency characteristic by a receiving part 107, a part subsequent to the prescribed section of the sound information is output after changing to the one frequency characteristic.
