<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of prolonging an operating time of a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor information collection apparatus acquires sensor information transmission time, at which a sensor transmits sensor information to a gateway device, and calculates a next session initiation time, at which the gateway device should next establish a session with the sensor information collection apparatus so that the next session initiation time becomes preceding a next sensor information transmission time of the sensor, on the basis of the sensor information transmission time and transmission intervals of sensor information of the sensor.
