A monitor (1) is stored in a casing (2) attached to a vehicle ceiling part (10), and a monitor engagement hook (6) is engaged with an engagement hole (1c).  When an engagement release button (7) is pressed and the engagement is released, a spring (3) at one end of a rotating shaft (1a) rotates the monitor (1) to open the monitor (1).  In this case, a gear (4) at the other end of the rotating shaft (1a) is meshed with the gear damper (5) of the casing (2), and controls the rotational speed of the monitor (1).  When the stopper (9) of the monitor (1) is brought into contact with a stopper receiver (8), the rotation of the monitor is stopped, and the attitude of the monitor (1) is held by the tension of the spring (3).
