The mobile phone has a housing provided with an upper shell (1) and a lower shell (2). The upper and lower shells are partially overlapped on each other for forming the housing, so that a gap (3) is formed in an overlapping area between the upper and lower shells. The gap is free from insulation and/or sealing material and acoustically sealed. The upper and lower shells comprise an inner side and an outer side, where the inner side is turned toward the center of the housing and the outer side is turned away from the center of the housing.
