PURPOSE: A block system for an embankment or a retaining wall and a construction method thereof are provided to securely support soil without installing an anchor block or a geogrid. CONSTITUTION: A block system for an embankment or a retaining wall comprises block bodies(2) and a tension member(14). Protrusion parts and concave parts are formed on both side surfaces of the block bodies. A pair of through holes are vertically formed on the top of the block bodies. The tension member is continuously connected to the block bodies in an axial direction using cap units(16). The tension member penetrates through the through holes of the block bodies. |
