PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color film for an organic EL device that has an improved blue color purity and small reduction of luminance (PL intensity) and is superior in haze, visible ray average transmittance and heat resistance when the film is used in the organic EL device particularly a blue organic EL device. SOLUTION: A color film for an organic EL device is characterized in that the film has a coating layer (ii) on a transparent base film (i), the coating layer containing at least one kind of pigment of 0.5-8.0 pts.mass selected from among cyanine-based pigment (B), azaporphyrin-based pigment (C) and rhodamine-based pigment (D) with respect to 100 pts.mass acryl-based resin binder (A), which have a maximum absorption in wavelengths of 510-610 nm.
