PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET bottle feeder that allows almost all the PET bottle products to be sold in a vending machine irrespective of the shape and material of the bottle, can be mounted on a serpentine type vending machine, and needs no auxiliary implement or adjustment for the size or a shape of a PET bottle in operation, to facilitate market introduction. SOLUTION: In the PET bottle feeder, two thin-plate rails having an interval are inclined and supported, a neck portion of a PET bottle is inserted through a rear rail opening part, a flange of the PET bottle is slid on the rails to move the PET bottle forward, and the PET bottle is stopped by a front one of two gates whose opening/closing operations are opposite to each other. When the PET bottle is sold through the following series of operations: the two gates reversely operate, the first PET bottle is delivered, the next PET bottle is stopped by the rear gate, only one PET bottle is discharged outside the rails, furthermore the two gates reversely operate, and the next first PET bottle is stopped by the front gate.
