PURPOSE: A light unit and a display device including the same are provided to form a groove, which a light diode is inserted, in lower part of an optical plate, thereby minimizing an optical gap between an optical plate and the light diode. CONSTITUTION: At least one light emitting diode(160) is formed on a substrate(150). An optical plate(140) has grooves inserted in each light emitting diodes. In reflection plate, holes is formed between the substrate and the optical plate corresponding to the light emitting diodes. An optical sheet(130) is arranged on the optical plate. A light diffusion patter is formed on an upper side of the optical plate. Inner side of grooves has a predetermined gap with the inserted light emitting diodes. |
